It's Official!

Finally, the Oath-Taking Ceremony has finally happened. I just need the license and I can finally work.

Ok, so I'm late on updates. The oath-taking actually took place in the L'Proa Ballroom of the L'Fisher Hotel last August 18, 2006 at about 8:30 AM.

The big problem is that it looks like it's gonna take longer for us to actally get our license because there was a Temporary Restraining Order issued to the PRC and all registrations for our licenses have been stopped. Read about it in the Visayan Daily Star Newspaper.

Can you believe that?

All these news about cheating and leakages in the nursing licensure exams are making me sick to my stomach.

Singapore Dreaming...

Did I mention that I was going to Singapore for some kind of vacation?

Yeah. Me and my friends have been planning it ever since we started reviewing for our local board exams. I was so extatic when we actually got to go there.

Actually, not all of my friends got to go with me. Just Monica, April, Tita Cora - April's mom and Karen. And my mum also went along for the ride...

I can't even begin to describe the kind of fun we had - which was so much.

I am actually still thinking about the things we actually did there. I can't even believe that went out everyday for 10 days. Everyday that we were there, we went shopping and sight seeing. I was exhausted each and everynight we went home but, it was worth all the fun... We not only went to Singapore, we also went to Kuala Lumpur and got to climb the Sky Bridge in the Petronas Tower and we went to Genting, which was a kind of mountain resort.

Yeah. I know it's a lot. I know my friends are still dreaming about it...

Heading For More Trouble
Heads up all newly-acclaimed RNs!

Looks like we won't be able to become certified RNs (you know with the license and all) because, as stated in the Philippine Daily Inquirer, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has decided to postpone our oaht-taking indefinitely.

If you ask me, all this 'leakage' situation about the whole June 2006 Nursing Licensure Examination is just one whole fiasco that would raise questions and doubt to Filipino nurses who want to work somewhere else.

Why don't these people just cut the crap and admit that there was some fiasco with the fiasco so we can put an end to our unemployed status and immediately start off with our requirements. I feel like, forever has to happen first before I reach each stage of my nursing career.

I hate it 'coz unemployment sucks...

I came across Paris Hilton's 'Stars Are Blind' music video the other day and I must say, all she really needs to do is take off her skimpy, flimsy suits - with all the rolling around the beach and making out sessions - and the whole thing would probably be a sequel to her 'One Night in Paris' video.

One Down, Several More To Go...
It's official! I'm finally an RN!

Phew! I made it.

Can you believe that??? The results of the June 2006 Nursing Licensure Exams have beem finally released last July 18, 2006. I can't believe how happy I am that I actually passed since the exam was hard.

Ok, so I haven't exactly been posting on a daily basis since then. I have one good reason: my internet connection is messed up. I couldn't go online. In fact, I'm in an internet cafè right now.
